US Seniors 'Still Love To Bingo'

US seniors still love to go and play bingo every Monday, it has been suggested.
It seems that some seniors in the US just can't get enough of filling in the bingo cards.
The town of Lisle, Chicago, has seen people play bingo for money for the last 15 years every Monday morning, local paper the Daily Herald reports.
And just to prove that the pensioners are willing to move with the times, they no longer have a cage. Instead, the Lisle Park District's Meadows Centre uses a small battery-operated box that announces the next number at random.
The news provider noted that there is not just one standard game that occurs in the building, but an array including "layer cake, two six-packs, four postage stamps and razzle-dazzle"
It is the opportunity to see friends that attracts the residents as much - if not more - to the bingo hall.
But the chat goes out of the window once the serious business begins, as the information outlet stated that "an air of complete concentration descends on the room" until there's a winner.
It was recently suggested by Gaming Zion that the traditional game may be on its way out, due to a number of reasons, including the smoking ban.
