With spring pretty much here, it's time for a hair makeover and all you bingo roomies out there will want to know what products you need to create the latest on-trend styles.

So what should you be spending your online bingo winnings on? Indira Schauwecker, artistic director at high street salon TONI&GUY, said that curls and waves are one of the top trends for 2010.

The idea is to embrace the natural texture of your hair with this look, as it's about appearing "beautifully care-free and wind-swept", not permed.

So the must-have products which will have you digging into your online bingo winnings are label.m Resurrection Style Dust, which gives an "instant lived-in finish" and label.m Shine Mist which creates an "organic high sheen", according to Ms Schauwecker.

Another big trend for the spring is fishtail plaits, which Ms Schauwecker said is just an adaptation of a normal plait.

"Essentially all you need to do is split your hair into two sections and then feed small sections into the centre of the head; the smaller the sections the more intricate the plait appears," she explained.

Braids generally are very fashionable at the moment, with the look being seen on plenty of catwalks. Jennifer Aniston was ahead of the curve, rocking the style at last year's Oscars, so it's definitely a look you'll want to try.

Ms Schauwecker commented: "Braiding is a great way to almost accessorise your hair – it adds subtle detail and can help you achieve more casual and almost hippy-inspired looks, as well as appear glamorous and groomed.

She recommended adapting braids to suit the occasion, as Jen did so brilliantly at the Academy Awards, where she wore her hair in waves with a cute French plait at the front.
