Rupert Everett enjoyed a few games of bingo while filming a documentary about the life and times of Lord Byron.
The actor, whose credits include St Trinian's, Separate Lives and a number of films in the Shrek series, dropped in on a group of gamers at Hucknall bingo hall, which is located close to where the poet was laid to rest, BingoPort.co.uk reports.
While discussing the life of the poet with the gamers for The Scandalous Adventures of Lord Byron, Everett took part in several rounds of the game and invited the players to offer their opinion on the late author.
The site noted that when one lady was approached for her take on the Romantic, she said: "He was a bit of a lad, wasn't he?"
Other locations that Rupert visited to research Lord Byron and his exploits include Lake Geneva and Greece, where the poet contracted fever and subsequently died.
