Kerry Katona Named As Online Bingo Player

Bingo is said to be enjoyed by a number of celebrities, including Kerry Katona

Kerry Katona is a big fan of internet bingo, according to a national newspaper report.

Katie Hind quoted an unnamed source in the Sunday People as saying the celeb is "really into" the pastime at the moment and "spends more time on her computer than she ever has in the past".

She also revealed that Katona has been a fan of bingo for several years, having taken it up after separating from husband Brian McFadden in 2006.

The former face of Iceland used to attend her local bingo hall with her mother regularly, but now appears to enjoy the internet variety as well.

Katona is not the first famous name to have been linked with the popular ball and numbers game.

The Bingo Times lists Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe, Sharon Osbourne and the Queen as being among the celebrities to enjoy it, while Dragons' Den judge Deborah Meaden is said to have been a top bingo caller in the 1980s.
