"I think it is more about something sparkly or putting on an extra accessory with your outfit, or a splash of colour or something that is going to make you feel a little bit more sexy, a little bit more feminine and remind yourself that you are an attractive woman."

Ms Hambleton-Jones advised women who want to feel extra special this Christmas to spend the cash they have won with online bingo prizes on something colourful.

"Don't get the quintessential little black dress that you buy every year, why not get a bright red one; scarlet, pink and gold are the colours of the season," she suggested.

The fashion expert said that this is the kind of purchase that will immediately make you feel more special and help you to stand out from the crowd.

She also recommended paying attention to detail with your appearance, by getting a quick nail paint or polish, which will only take £10 out of your online bingo winnings.

Alternatively, you could get a blow dry at the salon, which will only cost you around £12, Ms Hambleton-Jones said.

There are things that "don't have to cost the earth but make you feel so much more special and so much more pampered", she added.
