Bingo fan has a happy birthday
A long-time bingo fan celebrated a milestone birthday, which she says is down to good luck.
Frances Hudson, who turned 103 earlier this month, is the oldest resident of the Berlin Nursing Home in the US state of Virginia.
Sisan Canfora of the Delmarva Media Group wrote that Ms Hudson "perked up" at the very mention of bingo, which she plays for fun.
"Well, I can't tell you very much about bingo but you can win some money. Sometimes a quarter," she said.
Ms Hudson added that, much like her bingo game, her long life is a result of good luck.
Female bingo players may be luckier than their male counterparts when it comes to bingo fun, according to a new survey from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The group examined a number of trends in the online gaming industry and noted that when it comes to bingo, ladies are "a good deal luckier".
