There are loads of summer holiday bargains available this year with people holding out for last minute deals, so you could bag a great vacation with your online bingo winnings and still have some cash left over for a pina colada or two when you get there.

Co-operative Travel is offering holidays to Turkey for £169 per person and you can get hotels from as little as £1 per person per night, so even a small win from bingo games online would be enough to cover the price.

At the moment, hotels in Rhodes, the Algarve, Cyprus, Sharm El Sheik, Luxor, the Costa Blanca, Menorca, Ibiza, Majorca, Tenerife and the Costa Del Sol are all available for less than a tenner.

We Brits just aren't willing to give up on our precious holidays, which is clear from recent surveys.

A poll by Tesco Travel Money found that more than half of us intend to go abroad this year, while almost a third will go on two or more overseas breaks.

We're a nation of bargain lovers though, the survey found, as a third of us intend to spend less this year. But with the travel companies offering lots of great deals, it seems Brits can bag a bargain in between a quick game of money bingo!

If you're going to try and save some money by booking flights and hotels separately, also known as a DIY holiday, then you need to make sure you follow experts' advice.

Frances Tuke, a spokesperson for ABTA - The Travel Association, suggests that you check the wording in agreements and advises using a credit card when booking online.

Another way to save money is to shop around for the best deal when exchanging your online bingo winnings for foreign currency, says Tesco.

Many savvy savers are also choosing to cut back on food and drink costs, spend less on gifts and duty free and are even taking provisions with them such a teabags and cereal.

But if you manage to win some online bingo cash prizes before you head for the sun, you might have a bit more money to splash out on luxuries!
