100 Years Old And Still Enjoying Bingo Fun

Age has not stopped one US woman from enjoying bingo fun.

A woman has proved that age is no barrier when it comes to enjoying bingo fun.

This month, Bessie Rorebeck will celebrate her 100th birthday and she still settles down to enjoy the game at the home where she lives, the Trenton Republican Times reports.

The strong-spirited American was living independently until three years ago, when she moved into the Eastview Manor Care Centre.

As well as taking part in bingo games, she is active in the home's exercise programme and attends church services.

Ms Rorebeck is set to celebrate her birthday at the centre with friends and family on September 9th.

Her family also intend to have a special dinner for her.

The bingo fan stated: "I was in my own home until about three years ago.

"Then I fell and broke my hip. I couldn't get anyone to go home with me, so I came out here."

Another bingo enthusiast recently secured a substantial sum after winning a jackpot.

The player, who did not wish to be named, picked up £41,000 at the Edinburgh Meadowbank Gala Bingo club, Bingo News reported.
